Lubbock’s fitness community is getting another boost. Planet Fitness is expanding once again, this time to South Lubbock. The popular national gym chain, known for its affordable memberships and “Judgment Free Zone®” atmosphere, is opening a brand-new location to serve the growing residential areas in and around 98th Street.

The new Planet Fitness will be located at 3303 98th Street in the former Big Lots next to Kohl’s. The ample space (and parking) make it an excellent choice for a popular gym brand. It is slated to open this December, and memberships are already available at a discounted rate.
