AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was sentenced Oct. 31 in connection with the death of an Austin teen, according to Travis County court documents.
Documents showed that then 18-year-old Xavier Buentello pleaded guilty to the manufacturing or delivery of a penalty group 1 controlled substance under 1 gram, which is a state jail felony. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The sentence was related to the death of 17-year-old Sienna Contreras after she was found deceased in her bed on the morning of April 13, 2024, in her north Austin home.
