Woman arrested after attempted theft at Woodland Park Walmart

(WOODLAND PARK, Colo.) — A woman has been arrested and a man is still on the run after the pair were caught allegedly trying to steal a large amount of merchandise from the Woodland Park Walmart on Thursday, Nov. 13.

According to the Woodland Park Police Department (WPPD), officers responded around 9 a.m. on Thursday to the Walmart on Highway 24 in Woodland Park after a man and woman tried to steal “a significant amount of merchandise.” The woman, identified as 52-year-old Aimee Fooshee, struggled with officers but was eventually arrested.

Fooshee was charged with second degree assault on a peace officer, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and theft. She has been booked into the Teller County Jail on $21,500 bond…
