LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Nevada university issued a shelter-in-place after police reported an armed car robbery nearby.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said Wednesday, just before 2 p.m., dispatch received a report from a victim who said their car was taken by multiple armed suspects. It happened near the 3200 block of Rio Vista Drive in Laughlin.
Police say the suspects used the car to flee from the scene. LVMPD’s air unit was able to locate the car near I-11 and Wagon Wheel Drive. Officers later apprehended the suspects…
