The roads of Kapolei and ‘Ewa may just have become a smidge safer following a recent crackdown by Honolulu’s finest. The Honolulu Police Department swung into action on Tuesday, issuing a raft of citations and recovering illegally operated e-dirt bikes in an operation that spanned these two local areas. According to a social media post by the department, 16 citations were handed out for registration and safety check violations, and a motorcyclist was cited for carrying a young passenger in defiance of the law.
