Alexandria, VA — The Landing, a premier senior living community located at 2620 Main Line Blvd. in Alexandria’s Potomac Yard, hosted a special Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, honoring 24 residents representing the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of The Landing’s new Veterans Wall of Honor, a permanent installation designed to honor and remember the service and sacrifice of those who have worn the nation’s uniform. Each veteran was individually recognized during a pinning ceremony, which was followed by live musical tributes featuring the anthems of every military branch.
“The Veterans Wall of Honor will serve as a lasting tribute to the courage and dedication of those who have served,” said Jamie Houston, General Manager at The Landing.
