HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — An East Ridge police officer is on unpaid leave after an affidavit says he smashed his wife’s head into mirror.
According to the affidavit, the incident began when Joseph Hawks’ wife placed his hand on her buttocks and farted ‘in an attempt to be funny.’
