2-alarm fire destroys southeast Charlotte apartment building, displacing 16

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An apartment building was destroyed in a large fire Thursday night, leaving 16 people without a home in southeast Charlotte.

Charlotte Fire officials responded at 7:20 pm. Thursday, Nov. 13, to The Park at Ferentino complex on Woodscape Drive, where heavy fire was showing.

A second alarm was pulled about 15 minutes later due to the size of the building and the number of residents affected…
