As part of a years-long dispute over a million-dollar loan with a Knoxville-based bank, State Sen. Kerry Roberts (R-Springfield) was ordered by a judge last month to give up his historic home in Robertson County to creditors.
The ruling was issued by Sumner County General Sessions Judge Kee Bryant-McCormick, who oversaw the case between Roberts and Apex Bank, due to local recusals in Robertson County.
