RUSSELL COUNTY, ALA (WRBL) — On Veterans Day, the Russell County Veterans Memorial unveiled a new $15,000 POW MIA monument.
Jerry Simmons, a Vietnam veteran, is now the chairman for the Russell County Veterans Memorial Committee. He says the committee has worked for two years to get the monument.
