Mifflin Township man sentenced to 22 years to life for fatally shooting friend in 2022

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Mifflin Township man was sentenced Thursday to 22 years to life in prison for fatally shooting his friend over three years ago, the Franklin County Prosecutor’s office said.

According to the Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney Shayla Favor’s office, 45-year-old Robert Burnett was found guilty on Nov. 7 on two counts of murder and two counts of tampering with evidence, each with firearm specifications.
