City of Greensboro to host community input sessions in search of new police chief

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The City of Greensboro will host community input sessions in the search for a new police chief after John Thompson announced his retirement on Wednesday.

According to a press release from the city, Greensboro has contracted with the executive search firm Developmental Associates to “seek input from police department employees and the community, while conducting a national search for the most qualified candidates.”
