GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids has seen a wave of violence recently as police investigate another deadly shooting that happened Thursday night.
Gun violence is an issue city leaders have been focused on for years.
“Any loss of life in the city is concerning to us and we look at the homicide numbers very closely as a commission, as an individual commissioner,” Grand Rapids Commissioner Milinda Ysasi said.
