The FBI is currently investigating the tragic death of 18-year-old Anna Kepner, a Titusville high school senior and varsity cheerleader. Anna’s body was discovered aboard the Carnival Horizon cruise ship on November 7 after a six-day family cruise that took her through international waters in the Gulf of America.
Anna’s father reported that after the ship returned to Miami, authorities questioned the family but they have yet to receive any updates from the FBI regarding the investigation. In the lead-up to her death, Anna shared several TikTok posts that hinted at personal struggles, including heartbreak. On October 26, she posted a video with poignant messages about breakups, manipulation, and staying positive despite adversity. Her final TikTok post on October 30 suggested a sense of resignation about her relationships.
Loved ones remember Anna as a determined and bright individual who excelled academically, held a boating license before even being able to drive a car, and envisioned a future in the Navy, aiming to become a police officer in a K-9 unit.
