LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — A Jefferson County Grand Jury has indicted Dontez Deshawn Edwards, 36, of Louisville, on charges connected to a fatal September shooting in the Russell neighborhood.
Edwards faces one count each of murder, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and unlawful transaction with a minor.
The shooting occurred around 7:15 p.m. on Sept. 28, 2025, in the 2100 block of West Market Street. Police said the victim, an adult man, died before receiving medical assistance…
