PORT CHARLOTTE — A new program concentrating on cultivating and educating the region’s up-and-coming leaders is preparing to accept applications.
Leadership SWFL is an eight-month course during which participants learn how Charlotte, Collier and Lee counties work, according to a news release.
“It starts with understanding what makes our region thrive: the nonprofits serving our communities, the businesses driving our economy, and the leaders shaping our future,” it stated. “You’ll go behind the scenes to explore the forces that shape our region: arts and culture, health care, education, public safety, the environment, economic development and more.”…
