Richmond Residents Invited to Apply for Home Repair Assistance Through Healthy Homes Program

The City of Richmond, Virginia, is accepting applications for its Healthy Homes home rehabilitation program. The program was launched in 2023 by the Department of Housing and Community Development. It is designed to help eligible residents with essential home repairs.

The goal is to improve safety, accessibility, and the lifespan of homes. Mayor Danny Avula said preserving existing housing is part of the city’s plan to address the housing crisis.
