A 60-year-old woman was killed Thursday after she was struck by a driver who fled the scene, Antioch police said.
The woman, who was not identified, was struck while walking at the intersection of Marie Avenue and East 18th Street, police said. Officers were dispatched to the scene around 6:30 p.m. The driver had fled the scene by the time officers arrived.
