Man sentenced to 35 years in fatal Austin stabbing

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was sentenced Oct. 1 after pleading guilty to first-degree murder related to a 2021 fatal stabbing.

According to Travis County court documents, 23-year-old Mithovar Antoine Jr. was sentenced to serve 35 years in state prison.

Antoine’s sentence was related to the death of 23-year-old Nikolas Eugenio Martinez, who died after being stabbed at an East Oltorf Street gas station.
