EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Sunland Park will soon have its first full-time food pantry after the city received $719,338 in new state funding to complete the project.
The grant awarded through the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration’s Capital Development Program closes the remaining funding gap for the pantry, a partnership between the city and Casa de Peregrinos, Doña Ana County’s regional emergency food provider.
