AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Justice Department announced that an active-duty U.S. Army soldier stationed at Fort Gordon has pleaded guilty in a federal case involving North Korean IT worker fraud schemes.
This is part of a broader effort that also includes more than $15 million in civil forfeiture actions tied to DPRK cyber and virtual currency operations, according to the news release.
