METTLER, Calif. (KGET) — The Hard Rock Casino Tejon will have hundreds of employees on the clock at any given time and thousands of patrons at peak periods, making it a community unto itself.
And communities have needs — none of them more crucial than public safety. With that in mind, the Tejon Indian tribe — the Hard Rock’s partner and landlord, for lack of a better term — has invested big time into the building of a sheriff’s and fire substation that serves the casino, as well as the adjacent town of Mettler and the general area.
