CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – An ex-girlfriend of Terry Connor Jr., one of the defendants on trial for the 2019 murder of Scott Brooks, testified Friday her then-boyfriend texted her from a new number on the day of the killing.
Connor is on trial, along with Steven Staples, in the murder of Brooks outside the Noda restaurant he co-owned with his brother.
