HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – An Evansville church is looking for more volunteers.
Organizers say on November 20 through 23, Blue Grass Church will be hosting a “Feed My Starving Children MobilePack” event at two locations in Evansville. Volunteers will work in two-hour shifts at either the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center or Blue Grass Church on Petersburg Road to pack 500,000 meals to feed hungry children around the world.

Officials note volunteers are still needed to maximize the impact of the event, which would feed almost 1,400 children for a year. Meal packing is a family-friendly activity, and children as young as five can participate with their family.
