A Florida man was arrested and charged with DUI manslaughter after police said he struck killed a beloved math teacher and his son, who were walking in a crosswalk.

Mitchell Patch, an elementary school math teacher, was walking across a street with his 1-year-old son, Everett, when they were struck by a Honda Civic traveling eastbound on May 16, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Following a six-month investigation, the sheriff’s office announced the arrest of Logan Fletcher Park, 24, in connection with the incident…
