North Myrtle Beach officer ‘saved a precious life’ through quick action, department says

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A North Myrtle Beach police officer is being called a hero for his fast thinking that saved a child’s life.

On the afternoon of Sept. 27, Sgt. Christopher Bellamy was on routine patrol in the Cherry Grove area when he looked out on the waterway behind a 33rd Ave. N residence and saw an overturned golf cart.
