November 13, 2025 – Outstanding investigation by Violent Crimes detectives with assistance from the Canine and Aviation Units resulted in Wednesday’s arrest of serial robbery suspect Karon Simpson, 16, a short time after he held up Dragon Wireless, 1204 Murfreesboro Pike.
In addition to Wednesday’s hold-up, Simpson is charged with aggravated robbery in the following cases:
- Subway, 769 Bell Road, on November 10;
- Super Mercado, 981 Murfreesboro Pike, on November 6;
- Family Dollar, 853 Bell Road, on October 25;
- Family Dollar, 853 Bell Road, on October 24;
- The Escape Game, 162 3rd Avenue North, on October 23;
- Wireless Z, 5335 Charlotte Pike, on October 28.
