NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Metro Nashville Police officers helped reunite a 2-year-old with their family after the child was found wandering near a busy road in Nashville.
Officers found the toddler with bystanders when they arrived at 727 Bell Road at about 7 p.m. Thursday. The Nashville Fire Department began checking for any injuries on the kid, who had been spotted near the bustling thoroughfare.
Meanwhile, police began searching a nearby apartment complex for the home the child ambled away from, looking for any doors left ajar. They found an open door on the third floor, and after knocking, the toddler’s father appeared in the doorway…
