SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – A driver struck and killed a pedestrian in San Jose.
San Jose Police officers responded to the intersection of W. San Carlos Street and McEvoy Street following a report of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Nov. 14 at approximately 1:41 a.m.

A 2006 silver Toyota pick-up truck, occupied by an adult male driver, was traveling westbound on W. San Carlos Street approaching the intersection at McEvoy Street, when it struck an adult male pedestrian who was crossing the roadway outside of any marked crosswalk, according to the officers’ preliminary investigation.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead. The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police say…
