Police Arrest Two Wilmington Teens After Alleged Vehicle Theft Spree in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, DE — Two Wilmington teenagers are facing multiple charges after police say they were caught attempting to break into vehicles during the early morning hours in a New Castle neighborhood.

According to the New Castle County Division of Police, officers were dispatched just after 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to the community of Rutledge in New Castle following reports of several suspects attempting to open car doors and force entry using tools.

When officers arrived, they located multiple suspects and pursued them on foot. Police established a perimeter, and K9 Ramza and his handler conducted a track through the neighborhood.
