IOWA CITY, Iowa — The Iowa City Fire Department responded Thursday afternoon to a fire at an encampment on the city’s south side.
The fire broke out at an encampment at 101 McCollister Boulevard at 3:24 p.m. Firefighters say it appeared to have started from an unattended fire at the site.
