A proposal to put a convenience store with gasoline sales just north of Lafayette High School has drawn opposition from nearby residents.
The Lafayette City Zoning Commission will consider a request for a conditional use permit to allow fuel sales at a convenience store planned at 801 Foreman Drive at its 5:30 p.m. Monday meeting.
The proposal, according to documents filed with Lafayette Consolidated Government, includes demolishing the current Corner Pantry store and building a convenience store with six fuel pumps along Dulles Drive.
