Police: Driver in custody for child’s death in Henderson road rage shooting

An 11-year-old child is dead after a road rage shooting on the freeway in Henderson Friday morning, Henderson Police Chief Reggie Rader confirms.

In a media briefing, Rader said a 22-year-old man — later identified as Tyler Matthew Johns — is in custody in connection with the shooting and was booked into the Henderson Detention Center for open murder with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle.
