Lane County’s prosecutor said today that no charges would be filed against the driver of a car that struck a University of Oregon student as she rode a bike through a crosswalk in August. The 21-year-old woman died 10 days later. Christopher Parosa, the district attorney, said police and prosecutors agreed they could not prove any crime in the fatal crash. Jaime Adame reports.
