Feline panleukopenia cases increase at both Oahu Hawaiian Humane Society campuses

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Hawaiian Humane Society is experiencing an influx of cats with a highly contagious disease at both of its campuses.

Hawaiian Humane said feline panleukopenia is affecting both of the shelter’s campuses, particularly the Kosasa Family Campus at Hoopili.

The disease spreads through fecal contamination and can be fatal if left untreated…
