Adolfo Diaz, 62, of Duluth, was arrested in Rome after reports said he received over $40,000 in cash to do construction work at a home on Covey Rise Drive back in 2024, but never completed the work.
He is also accused of using the victim’s credit card to buy a Dewalt two-drill combo kit (valued at $149) and taking $6,000 worth of materials purchased by the victim.
Reports added that Diaz later returned to the property after being given notice not to, and dumped trash out of his trailer on their property…
