According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Triton will eventually begin formal K-9 training once he reaches the appropriate age and developmental stage. For now, deputies say he is being introduced to the station environment, noises, handlers, and basic socialization—important early steps in the multi-year process of becoming a full-service police K-9.
