Check out your weekend forecast in the Piedmont Triad

(WGHP) — Skies remain clear through the evening and overnight hours on Friday. Temperatures will be falling into the 50s by 7 p.m., with many in the low 50s by 9 p.m.

We’re in store for a nice, warm weekend in the Piedmont Triad. Temperatures will start off Saturday morning in the mid-40s and highs will reach the low 70s. While we’ll start the early morning with sunshine, clouds gradually increase through mid-morning, leaving us with mostly cloudy skies the majority of the day Saturday. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5 to 15 mph, with winds mainly increasing towards the end of the day.

Some clouds linger into Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Early Sunday morning, a few stray showers are possible, although the chance is less than 20% and the majority of us won’t see any rain. Sunshine returns throughout the day on Sunday with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures start off in the mid-50s in the morning and reach the low 70s again by the afternoon. Winds will be on the breezy side of things with a northwest wind at 10 to 20 mph and gusts up to 30 mph possible…
