IMPD names new Downtown District commander
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has announced a new commander for the Downtown District.
Capt. Shane Foley, a 18-year veteran of the department, says he’ll make sure downtown stays safe and feels safe.
Foley has served the IMPD in various capacities, including his current role as captain of the North District. He’s also worked in IMPD Public Affairs and as a recruit training supervisor.
