MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Eight people were arrested and four pounds of marijuana seized in a police saturation effort on a South Memphis street.
Memphis Police say they executed search warrants Thursday in coordination with the Memphis Safe Task Force on Boyd Street, an area police said is known for persistent gang and drug activity.

The following individuals were taken into custody or charged, MPD said:
- Larry Lindsey, 38 – Three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell (Marijuana); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (
- Devandrick Bowie, 37 – Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell (Marijuana); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- L Love, 46 – Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell (Marijuana); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Convicted Felon in Possession of a Handgun; Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony
- Eric Crawford, 52 – Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell (Marijuana); Evading Arrest
- Keosha Griggs, 32 – Arrested on a warrant for Identity Theft
- Donald McCoy, 41 – Arrested on a warrant for Theft of Property ($1,000–$2,500)
- Kelvin Davis, 51 – Arrested on a warrant for Vandalism ($1,000 or less)
- Coral Price, 51 – Issued a misdemeanor citation for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)
“Through these joint efforts, drugs, guns, and repeat offenders are being removed from Memphis neighborhoods, and together we are building safer communities for Memphis families,” said said Ryan Guay, Supervisory Deputy United States Marshal and spokesperson for the Memphis Safe Task Force.
