Former CAO for Tami Sawyer sues, claiming wrongful termination

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The former chief administrative officer for Shelby County General Sessions Court Clerk Tami Sawyer has filed a lawsuit against her, claiming he was wrongfully terminated.

Jeffrey Allen Walker claims he was fired after he questioned $4,871 in expenses on a procurement card used for purchases at a cigar bar, Uber Eats deliveries, University of Memphis basketball games, political campaign contributions and more.
