Driver runs over woman in street after she falls off electric scooter; no one seriously injured

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Video obtained by FOX13 shows a near-fatal accident on a Memphis street. Luckily, no one was seriously injured.

An 18-year-old woman was cruising down Union Avenue on an electric scooter Friday night when she hit a bump and fell right in front of a car at a stoplight. The driver of that car never saw her and began driving through the light, driving over the woman.

The driver told police that she stopped when she heard screams coming from beneath her vehicle. The woman who was hit was taken to the hospital, but police said she was released hours later with bruises on her face and arm…
