Retail, condos coming to Second Avenue nearly 5 years after bombing

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — It’s been nearly five years since the Christmas Day bombing, and what was once a Nashville staple is finally getting new life.

“The last five years have been incredibly, incredibly difficult and challenging, and there’s so many people that have worked to put together what we’re seeing today,” Metro Nashville Historic Zoning Commissioner Cyril Stewart said.

On Thursday, developers broke ground on The Old Spaghetti Factory property to make way for the future Heritage at Broadway community. The building will feature 50 luxury short-term rental condos in addition to roughly 10,000 square feet of retail space…
