Driver enters guilty plea in connection with girl’s death at 2022 Raleigh Christmas Parade

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A man accused of losing control of his truck during the 2022 Raleigh Christmas Parade before hitting and killing an 11-year-old girl pleaded guilty to three charges on Friday afternoon.

Landen Glass entered a guilty plea in Wake County court to charges of obstruction of justice, death by motor vehicle and having a dangerous weapon at a parade.

Judge Paul Rideway said Friday that as part of the plea arrangement, Glass will serve two consecutive active misdemeanor sentences: 75 days for death by a motor vehicle and 45 days for carrying a dangerous weapon at a parade…
