EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — The step-uncle of the Crocker children was sentenced Friday after he plead guilty to several charges related to the deaths of his niece and nephew.
Mark Wright pleaded guilty to murder in the second degree, cruelty to children in the first degree, cruelty to children, two counts of concealing the death of another and false imprisonment in August 2025. His charges stem from the deaths of his niece and nephew, Mary Crocker and Elwyn Crocker, Jr.
