A person was killed in an overnight crash involving a car and a truck near the Wilmington Airport in New Castle, Delaware.
A witness told NBC10 a tractor trailer and a car were involved in the crash around 1 a.m. in the southbound lanes of North Dupont Highway near the intersection of Christiana Road. Footage from the scene showed a mangled car, broken glass on the road and the back left tire of the truck that was ripped off.
Delaware State Police and the medical examiner transported a person’s body from the scene. Officials have not yet revealed the cause of the crash, any details on the victim or if anyone else was hurt…
