MADISON, Wis. – Madison police responded to an early morning crash on the city’s east side.
Officers responded to the area of Swanton Road and N Thompson Drive after witnesses called about a truck crashing into a tree around 2:30 a.m. Upon police arrival, the vehicle left the scene on Thompson Drive, near the meadow apartments. Police later found the truck past the roundabout just north of the overpass on Thompson Drive.
Officials confirm one person is in the hospital. They are unable to confirm the status of injuries or the number of people in the vehicle at the time of the crash…
