San Antonio police union considers vote of no confidence in chief after officer arrests

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Officer’s Association is openly questioning the leadership of Chief William McManus in the wake or the Melissa Perez trial, the woman who was shot and killed by police during a mental health crisis.

For the second time in less than a decade, SAPD officers may move toward a vote of no confidence.
