Friday evening update:
This week started out well below freezing, but just like that, we are back to the 70s! Even warmer weather is on the way for the weekend. Tonight, high pressure is directly overhead, bringing calm winds and clear skies. Our low temperatures for Saturday morning will be in the low 40s, so be sure to dress warm if you’re out and about tonight or tomorrow morning. No need for a jacket tomorrow afternoon though, as high temperatures will reach the upper 70s! Sunday morning will be significantly warmer than Saturday, with lows in the low to mid 50s. The warm air is thanks to a southwest wind coming in ahead a dry cold front.
That cold front will push through the CSRA on Sunday bringing some clouds in the morning and gusty winds up to 25 mph. This front will lead to a shift in the wind direction, and the north winds will bring cooler air back in for Monday. High temperatures will be back to near 70 and lows near 40…
