DC police set new juvenile curfew zones for this weekend

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has issued two juvenile curfew zones for this weekend

According to police, the curfew zones are set for Saturday, Nov. 15, and Sunday, Nov. 16, from 8 to 11 p.m. in Navy Yard and the U Street Corridor.

In a juvenile curfew zone, anyone under the age of 18 is prohibited from gathering in a group of nine in a public place or establishment, unless they are taking part inexempted activities.
